I was tested Tuesday, as part of my overdue (thanks, Covid!) routine physical. I'm a chronic asthmatic bronchitis sufferer. Even the slightest hint of a cold leaves me hacking. The last time, I nearly ended up in the hospital. As a precaution, I guess, my doctor wants to know if the "non-flu flu" I had back in February could have been this virus. It sounds like she's testing for antibodies, not the actual virus. Are they two different tests? I wish I'd asked. I'll have to do that when the results come back. I have no idea when that will be, but I'm definitely concerned about long-term issues.
Anybody else tired of the limbo, yet? Waiting for the other shoe to drop is wearing me out, that's for sure!
The antibody test is different. They have to draw blood for that. I wouldn't mind having that one either. The swab test is for the virus infection currently. That's the one I had.

I really need to slow down even if it’s only to 70s or something at first because this 90 carp is just absurd. I mean, people die at even 50 or 60, let alone 90 or 95 :th

You need a car like mine. Looks pretty speedy but struggles to get over 40 mph uphill, struggles to ramp up to highway speeds, then once you're on the highway, if you hit 75, it rattles like every screw is going to fly apart in the frame, leaving you sitting on the road with just a steering wheel and a seat. I considered swapping out the engine for a more powerful one but then again, where am I going that I need to be going that fast? I can live with the hamster powered engine.

Oddly I’m lucky and have never gotten a ticket yet. Maybe that’s why. But I’m going to get one and it’s going to be big bucks and skyrocket the insurance especially considering I’ve had my license under 5 years. Probably considered newer or higher risk or whatever already even without the ticket. Need to work on it for real. But also I think for a brief time I really didn’t care if I crashed, maybe even wanted it, but I definitely don’t want that now. So I need to quit it.
There has been a great many subjects that a bunch of us other users have shared wisdom, freely for you (and others down the road)[pun intended]. Some of it has been hard learned by us all or a few. Some of it was vicariously earned. All shared in good faith. I & dare I say it - every other user - hope you don't learn the 'hard way' even after the wisdom was so graciously and diligently shared.

On a lighter note... here’s my new chick, Sookie. No idea what egg it came from but I’m sure her coloring is going to be incredible.

Think hatching chicks has been the only thing keeping my mind off everything in the world right now

As you share pictures I see different parts of your body art. I am now, always curious since my time in the Navy. As you treat your body like a special canvas, how many adorn "your canvas" now adays? A) total number?
B) those you are comfortable sharing with the world around you?
C) any with special stories you'd enjoy sharing.

I really enjoy hearing the stories behind folks choices what they adorn themselves with.....
