I am a non-mask person and personal freedom is much more important to me than anything. Period.

We finally got a little bit of rain last night! Whew it's been so hot and icky that my rashes have rashes. Unfortunately the storm system is really irritating the corns and bunions on my big toes. How about you? How's the weather where you are??

Even Lands End is selling their brand of face masks. Probably made in China like much of their products. In the 90's when I started ordering from them - they boasted "made in America," just like LLBean, and New Balance. Gee what happened??

I haven't posted in this thread for quite a while but do catch up on the posts from time to time. I live in Massachusetts where masks are mandatory. Our Governor strongly urged at the beginning of this pandemic that people stay at home as much as possible, social distance, etc. The majority of our Commonwealth adhered to this guidance and if you look at our rates of infection now it shows this strategy works. I think many people outside of our state are finally understanding the gravity of this virus and are complying with something so simple as wearing a mask, social distancing and washing your hands. There will always be people who don't believe something is real unless they personally have experienced or witnessed it. Unfortunately for them, their day will come. Hopefully they survive. The best thing you can do is to protect yourself as much as possible and avoid the "non-believers" who are likely perpetuating the virus. I just find it a wee bit disturbing that we need to be reminded to wash our hands. Of course, prior to the pandemic there were countless times I used a public restroom and countless people just flushed and walked out the door without a glance at the sink. Seriously! Basic hygiene. Stay healthy and stay safe everyone.

LE and LLB have always charged plenty for whatever product they were selling. Bean's
when they are having a BIG sale, might knock 10-20% per cent off some items. LE frequently has 40, 50% off

agree Wee Farmer Sarah. I try very hard NOT to need a restroom away from home. Haven't been in the men's room for years (accidentally) and got out of there instantly. But know a lot of women(and kids too) are just absolute pigs.

With pee & poo all over the seats, and women's monthly "ordeal" proof adding color to that. Are they that unsanitary at home?? Plus mothers bringing a young child in with them. Said child usually a male, sticks his head under the divider to take a gander at me. I'm not always my sunny self(who knew ?) So I loudly announced, if you stick your head in here one more time I will step on your face!!!

That prompted his mother to ask "Are you bothering that lady?" What a joke, they were both in the same stall and she had to ask him. Fortunately for me, she had no idea how small I am or how hard I can kick.

Being a bantam sized woman for most of my life, has not been easy but it can be fun. Okay I'll go back to bed and shut up for awhile.
