Can chickens really have smoothiesThe chicken's smoothie
As long as it doesnāt have anything bad for them in it probablyCan chickens really have smoothiesyouāll see me out in my yard sipping cold smoothies with them if thatās the case... except theyāll be licking or pecking it.
@MROO or @SnapdragonQ or whoever... What is this plant it was growing out of our compost pile? So I put it in a kiddie pool with a bunch of compost, soil, and shavings.
There are also purple potato starts in there

Itās on one of the fruits. But others look fine so idk. And I think the stem is also starting to rot and/or dry out. Had this issue last year but I at least got some veggies off it firstIs the rot on the plant or on tiny little zucchini starts?
If it's the fruits, that's not unusual when it's getting going because often the fruit flowers bloom first before the pollinating flowers get going. It should straighten out quickly enough.
If it's the plant you could have a squash vine borer. Little grub that eats the plant from the inside out. Treatable though if you can find the entrance hole for the grub.
It looks like some sort of squash family plant but idk if that would be zucchini, another squash, or pumpkin, or what. Guess youāll have to wait and see@MROO or @SnapdragonQ or whoever... Had this issue last year but I at least got some veggies off it firsthappened to the squash and cukes and the squash eventually stopped producing after a few cause theyād all rot. Hoping that doesnāt happen this time. But I donāt remember treating it last time.
