Anyone seen any great masks for Christmas? Or a great Christmas print fabric? Or a printable -- like a snowman or Santa's beard or something -- I could transfer to cotton to make a mask?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction if you see anything.

Etsy, Go to etsy and search. :) Try to avoid doing a google search or clicking on ads - they charge stores extra for it, but you can just search on Etsy and click on the stores individually anyhow.

I've been scouring the interwebs for Christmas ideas. I've found some printable I think are great. See what you think:

8 1/2" x 11" Christmas graphics to frame for decor: https://www.sixcleversisters.com/6-free-printable-christmas-signs/

Adorable gift tags. I printed these on both glossy and matte photo paper and then switched up the textures for even more interesting results: https://www.100directions.com/printable-christmas-holly-gift-tag-craft/

Clever little boxes to print out on cardsock. Note: the size designations are relative. The "medium" one is just 2" x 2" x 3" but they're CUTE: https://www.100directions.com/mason-jar-gift-box-printables/

A great looking watercolor seasonal card to print on matte or glossy photo paper. This one could be enhanced -- not that it isn't already gorgeous! -- by tracing that framing line around the sentiment with a metallic pen: https://www.eskaamakes.com/free-printable-christmas-cards/

And if you find any stuff I hope you'll share here too! Pretty, pretty please?! Tis the Season!!!

I was just told, “the nurse said only one person needs tested per household to exit quarantine.” Is that really a thing? I find it very difficult to believe.
We're calling the doctor tomorrow to get a release note for DS. If his work won't accept it instead of the retest he can't get, his last employer will take him back in a heartbeat. I understand the fear, but at some point, logic has to prevail ... at least a little bit!

How about some good news? It's not on the Covid front but it's good news nonetheless
Some 20 years ago, while visiting family in Plymouth, Mass, I went on a whale watch. The usual smaller whales were upstaged by a huge pod of humpbacks and we spent the better part of the day travelling from one whale to another, watching several cow/calf pairs and a handful of others as they sounded, dove and occasionally rolled over to watch us in return. They are the most amazing creatures I've ever had the fortune to observe. If you EVER get the chance to go on a whale watch, do it. It's inspiring, overwhelming and humbling, all at the same time. You'll come away with a new reverence for nature and our place in it.

AMEN!, Mary. I don't do any social media at all and the more time that goes by and the more I learn about how it's used to manipulate people and intrude into their lives the happier I am about the situation. We also have declined to install any of the devices that wire households to the internet, Ring, Alexa, etc. aren't welcome in our house.

Forums and e-mail give me all the opportunity I need to find community, exchange information and stay in touch.
I BROKE ALEXA!
Last year, while visiting a friend, I was asked to give Alexa a riddle. I gave her a common one from my own childhood. "Alexa, what's black and white, black and white, black and white?" The widely known, standard answer was "A Penguin rolling down a hill, (but of course, my Catholic-raised father would say it was a nun!) Alexa got lost! No matter how many times we asked her, she came up with a list of random answers ... a frog, a basketball hoop, all sorts of weird stuff.
After that, I refused to invite Alexa into my home. How can I trust her with important questions if she can't even answer a tired, old riddle? Zheesh!
