The g33kie scientific detail I'm fascinated by is the gravity part of this equation. Particulates of a given molecular weight "Large" have a documented (and cool video too) gravity proving glide slope.Same situation in my house. G is locked up and masks to leave and bleaches everything in the bathroom when he's done. We have a spray bottle and paper towels. We leave food out for him and knock on the door.
I suggest cracking a window in your room, especially if it's on the 2nd floor, if you can afford to. It keeps the airflow in one direction - up into and out your window, so it doesn't circulate in the house as badly. And the air exchange keeps virus counts down in your general space so it's less risky to walk out.
It's scary but I hope we can all get through it without infecting other people.
*** ~6' & shorter
Particulates of a slightly smaller size have a noticable larger glide slope but, still effected by gravity.
*** ~6-~12'(ish)
And then we have the wierdos.... Particulates that are speculated to somewhat ignore gravity. These are again smaller then the previous group but, theoretically the human eye can supposedly still see them?
*Pause button* this is where my memory stops cold. The data I'm limited by in this reply stops here are the cool video research project stuff that is now all older that 6+ months as of now. They had shown how much a mask can reduce particulates transmitted with different masks and without. The articles would talk about plans to research the *floating* aspect and also the life cycle of these cells that can potentially float.
