This kind of culinary creation is THE BEST! It really doesn't matter what you put i it. The garlic and Italian seasonings render everything edible and delicious!
It's cooling off.....
Tupperware will be headed to the freezer for over 1/2 of it ... Better-half and kiddo's will get some when they come home.

Idk, I had a pet tarantula as a kid... And a cricket colony to feed him. Mom wouldn't let me get the Goliath Bird Eater I wanted from the petstore or I woulda had that too. :lau Might be worse than mealworms.

He was able to taste the ramen noodles! He was also able to taste a WEE bit of breakfast today, enough that the carrot sticks were sweeter than the eggs. But the bell peppers tasted like nothing he said. Such a relief. XD The man sends himself into a panic doomscrolling and deciding he has every problem and will never recover from anything.

Rest assured, he already likes spicy food but this particular brand of Korean ramen is something a little else. It takes a robust constitution to consume. There's a 2X spicy version that's famous for making people cry on youtube and being hot enough to cause burns in sensitive people. I eat the regular version.

It's an experience worth having if you like hot food a lot. It's also more manageable if you only use half the hot sauce packet. I eat it with mushrooms, carrots, radishes and green onions cut into mine while the noodles cook with a soft boiled egg on top at the end. :)
No tarantula, but I rescued a baby screech owl who was too little and too dependent to be released. Oliver was, by far, the coolest pet in the neighborhood.
Then a neighbor found a naked , blind baby raccoon in his hay loft. Mama was attacking his daughter whenever she went out to feed the horses, so the nest had to go. He was going to drown it, but my little brother stuck out his hand. Instead of heading for the drink, "Bo" came to our house. "He" turned out to be "She," but by the time we discovered it, "he" already knew his name, so there wasn't much we could do about it. Shebo grew into a 40 pound love-bug. She was also worse than a toddler ... one that never grew out of the terrible twos! Whn my Dad brought in her first Christmas tree, she ran all around it, up it, into it, through it - she was ecstatic! Then she ran up to my father, stood up and put one paw on his knee and warbled the clearest "Thank You" I've ever heard spoken by an animal. That year, the few ornaments that survived were wired to the tree. It was bare, but it was fun!
Then there was Gertrude, the garter snake that taught us that not all reptiles lay eggs. I'll never forget that writhing mass of toothpicks in her enclosure!
Two baby squirrels we nursed back to health after my cousin accidentally dropped a box on them in his attic ... Frosty and Carl (named by my brother after a "very squirrelly person!")
So yup ... I totally understand!

Sounds like you've had a really rough time of it and I'm sorry for your losses. :hugs:(

We having leftovers too, just kind of whatever we didn't finish this week. Baked chicken, turkey burritos or vegetarian curry are the options tonight. :) Waste not and all that, right?
Here, we call that a "Clean Out The Fridge Night," and those are my favorites ... no cooking!

(Rings dinner bell) (cyber version)
This is a very simple leftover throw it in there....
-- (Thawed) dark meat from Thanksgiving
-- All the leftover dipping veggies and some small packs of other veggies in drawer of fridge.
-- leftover chicken breast italian seasoning
-- a heaping tsp of minced garlic
-- chicken broth (duh, leftover as well)View attachment 2447317
I would eat that up soooo fast, especially with homemade rustic bread. Looks really yummy :drool

Oh my, the carrots.... Ummmm, y'all know what I mean here?
When the pot roast is falling off the bone the carrots are soft to eat and have soaked up the meat nuance?

We have a Phö restaurant we have going to since our 1st "date-dinner" ~2005/06

They have the Phö Ga with carrot chunks that is this same successful softness only bonus... It's curry! Done really warm!

Well this batch is gonna get curried on next round of thaw and reheat... The kiddos are, and I quote the text reply, " ahh yes!" (Proud daddy moment)

Well life for me has not changed but have lost a few people to covid. I still sit at home alone with my chickens and get their feed and mine delivered but this was same for many many years before covid. still a hermit still life sucks. no change. except 1 good thing happened

NOW ALL OF YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL DAILY BEING IN MY HOUSE 24/7 WITH NO FRIENDS OR FAMILY!, when people cry about being on lock down I laugh because: WELCOME TO MY ENTIRE LIFE for a short period.......

the best way to eat a carrot is to dig a hole and throw it in it and bury it.
or feed it to the rabbit you going to cook first XD

Look, I'm ALL FOR cooking rabbits, I don't know how many I have processed in my freezer right now, but carrots cooked in meat juice until they're soft are divine and I shall hear no more debate on this subject. 👑

When I was a kid the best veggie my mom cooked was fresh carrots, because everything else was canned
