Could your family weather a depression?

HenSpa, I was out feeding the chickens( just got them in July) Sun. morning and I started thinking about the dream. I have lots of time to do that since I put the coop about 50yds. out in the horse pasture. Didn't put much thought into that one.

I DID think of Joseph and the pharoh, but just couldn't figure out how the moon being so far out of place could be some type of message. But then niether did pharoh. I just look for it to be in the right place and moving across the sky the way I've always known it . Oh, btw, my avatar is from the eclipse back in Feb. of this year. I took them through my telescope.

Scientists HAVE Confirmed that this alignment WILL take place, (a smaller, similar alignment has already occured, and may be the cause of some of the weather extremes we're currently experiencing) and that the Complete Alignment will be at closest-to-a-straight line on that exact date. Twelve bodies will perfectly align, causing extreme stresses on all the planets, and since we have tidal effects from not only our own moon, but from closer planets, they are expecting an increase on geologic activity (earthquakes), changes in weather patterns, extreme fluctuations in those patterns, or reversals. Also discussed was that when this alignment does occur, our polar axis will shift, and magnetic north/south will flux for a period before settlling to a new location.

I've seen this same information on different shows on The Weather Channel, National Geographic channel, Discovery Science channel, just to name a few. I don't know how reputable you consider these sources, but I have also seen this information by some of the "hard news" correspondents doing "in depth" reporting on some of these issues.

I'm sorry but I'm not finding it or buying it. What I am finding is that the so called alignment is not going to happen.

Major catastrophes from the alignments are just speculation.​

I also have felt the need to can and stockpile. The urge to tell my kids that they need to come home if ANYTHING happens, that they have a home here and to tell them that they are welcome here. I used to give most of my canned food away as I made it but this time I do not want to give it away.

As there is a 50% chance as of today, my husband may be laid off on Friday. And he builds new homes... I think we're screwed!!!!

If not this friday, then one friday after for sure in the next 2 months!

I figure we are weathering one right now !! I raised a garden for the 1st time in 5 years, bought young turkeys to raise and eat, and got a few egg laying chickens (a good excuse to buy more birds)

, and stopped making so many trips to town. I want to do more but, work is just too crazy right now.....

My hubby's work has cut back on his hours, he is not the only one affected. The whole night crew was....not a happy one either! So we are bracing for the unexpected.

I am not a pesmissic about these things but optimist about the future holds us. I must say, ride it out and hope things will even itself out.

Thus, Biltz began focusing on the precise times of both solar and lunar eclipses, sometimes called “blood moons” since the moon often takes on a bloody color. He logged onto NASA’s eclipse website which provides precision tracking of the celestial events.

Four Consecutive Eclipses

He noted a rare phenomenon of four consecutive total lunar eclipses, known as a tetrad.

He says during this century, tetrads occur at least six times, but what’s interesting is that the only string of four consecutive blood moons that coincide with God’s holy days of Passover in the spring and the autumn’s Feast of Tabernacles (also called Succoth) occurs between 2014 and 2015 on today’s Gregorian calendar.

“The fact that it doesn’t happen again in this century I think is very significant,” Biltz explains. “So then I looked at last century, and, believe it or not, the last time that four blood red moons occurred together was in 1967 and 1968 tied to Jerusalem recaptured by Israel.”

He then started to notice a pattern of the tetrads.

“What’s significant to me is that even before 1967, the next time that you had four blood red moons again was right after Israel became a nation in ‘48, it happened again in 1949 and 1950 … on Passover and Succoth. You didn’t have any astronomical tetrads in the 1800s, the 1700s, the 1600s. In the 1500s, there were six, but none of those fell on Passover and Succoth.”

When checking the schedule for solar eclipses, Biltz found two – one on the first day of the Hebrew year and the next on the high holy day of Rosh Hashanah, the first day of the seventh Hebrew month. Both of these take place in the 2014-2015 year.

Solar Eclipse

Biltz says, “You have the religious year beginning with the total solar eclipse, two weeks later a total lunar eclipse on Passover, and then the civil year beginning with the solar eclipse followed two weeks later by another total blood red moon on the Feast of Succoth all in 2015.”

“If you think that this is a coincidence, I want you to know that it’s time!” exclaimed Prophecy in the News host J.R. Church. “There are no more of these for the rest of the century.”

It is quite possible, maybe even likely, that this is pure speculation, but on the outside chance that there is shred of potential for this type of situation, not to mention the shape that this country is in right now, I won't be caught with my pants down. While God has His finger on the controls, He also gave us the intelligence to take care of ourselves. To me that means being prepared for whatever comes our way, be it a climate change, a recession / depression or anything else. If nothing comes of any of it, and things get back to our vision of normal and we all go on with our lives, great. I will still hone my basic skills for survival by growing my own food and storing it, being able to hunt for meat, knowing how to use non- power tools and then hope I never have to use them just to survive. I'm not as prepared for hard times (and I DO believe they are coming) as I would like to be, so I will keep working on it.
