Countdown To Eggs! For June hatches 😊

Looks like I have some back peddling to do. I posted I had 2 BCM hens that started laying. After over a week I can say with confidence it’s just one.

We found two Marans eggs the first day. After that we’ve only had one dark egg a day or none. Those two eggs were also suspiciously similar in size, shape, color, and speckling. There could be a few things going on but I’m guessing we missed an egg. Then collected two the next day. Because we were not checking regularly yet. Oops.

I have 1 out of 5 laying. Same birth week. The Blue Copper has been laying since 19 weeks! I'm thankful for her.

Delilah resumed laying after a 3 week ish break, and my Welsummer started after a 5 month break (she's such a finicky layer) Still waiting for Daliah to start but she's looking like she's close

June 1st Olive egger, which seems to be just an easter egger, laid her first beautiful sage green egg on Sunday! (She's the black one in back, obviously not the Orpington).
She skipped Monday then laid one Tuesday and yesterday
