The point is, if you really look at the news, any news you will see that coyotes attacking children is very common; not just a single rabid animal, but a predator that is attacking what they percieve as weaker prey - our children. I do believe in live and let live, however I will protect my animals, my family, and my property as I see fit, even if I have to use lethal means.

i personally enjoy watching coyotes and other predators when not on my property when they get on my property close enough to kill my chickens or other animals. even though i have permission(neigbors would pay me to) i dont shoot the coyotes unless they are a threat (im not going to lie i do like to shoot them for sport sometimes just becouse they are a challenge they are very cunning)


as for the luring a dog to the pack here in ohio they will send in a female that is in heat to luer in and kill male dogs it is why we only get female dogs(that and 1 male dog we had like to form a conga line with my dads friends kid)

Goodness, when did we go from coyotes to wolves? That's a whole new ball game there. Wolves are in a whole different leage than coyotes.

Yes, you can keep your wolves. I'll take my coyotes over them any day. Beautiful animals, but I don't want them in my backyard! Or next to the house, either! As for your coyotes, at least you can get rid of them. I don't know about wolves - are they federally protected, or just in certain places? I'm just curious.

I don't recall who mentioned it here on BYC recently, but the person stated that the coyotoes , i think they said Maine were big and indeed part wolf..!
