males make a raspy noise as if they have a really bad throat! lol
and females just quack

Drakes can be aggressive some worse than others it's a hormone thing and they cannot control it. But we can show them how to be respectful of us but it's something that has to be worked on daily once they get to breeding age.
from all I have read you have a female if she quacks loud.
