That would have been so nice to put in my canned goods baskets this year..it WILL be on my list ext year!! Might expand my homemade hooch making too, the kahlua was WONDERFUL, like rich cappaccino..very, very good..use that recipezaar recipe one of ya'll found for me and posted on this thread..that really made a nice gift!! I think I will do the blueberry vodka again too, the color is gorgeous, might add more sugar next time to sweeten it more but it tastes like vodka with a bit less of the sharp edge now...left some blueberries in each bottle too, bet they will knock you on your butt!! I think I will be looking all year at the thrift stores this next year for cool bottles. I also plan to do more canning, I dearly love that...well not as much as Squirrel does, but close, lol!!!
I toasted pecans yesterday, not sweet ones, just real butter and salt and baked until crispy then packaged up...really good! Today the 6 london broils that I sliced yesterday and soaked overnight in the Lawry's Steak and Chop marinade will go on my old Mr. Coffee dehydrator to make jerky and then I am totally finished with Christmas making for this year....makin a list for next year though, lol!!
