Crafters- What are you making???

Pics
I canned some jam and dilly beans and will make some chicken cookie-cutters and cookies.

I also always make an edible "yule log", using a family recipe for potica (sort of a large jelly roll, but with walnut-chocolate filling) from Slovenia. I cover it with whipped cream and decorate with chocolate, marzipan mushrooms, and candles. yummy!

wow, earthnut that sounds absolutely wonderful. I have made the cake type yule logs but yours sounds better. How are you making chicken cookie-cutters? That sounds so neat!!

I am making fleece blankets, soaps, bath salts, milk baths mixes, and canned jellies. For my stepdaughter and son in laws, I am making some soups (loaded baked potato soup and brococili and cheese soup) Freezing them in family size container so when they come home from a long day at work they can just heat it up.

I love the soup idea Jackie! One year I gave chickens casseroles in glass dishes I had bought at the family dollar so they disnt have to return them. I was a nice casserole with wild rice, swiss cheese, wine...really good and not your ordinary. I made about 6 that year and gave them to all the single guys my husband had working with him and a few of our single friends so they made really nice gifts. I would rather get a home made present than one store bought, seems alot of my extended chicken family would too!! ...by the way, I gave out my chicken wire soap/crocheted wash cloth baskets to my co-workers on thursday and they were genuinely impressed, I was flattered to death! My chickens and my baskets were the topic of conversation for two entire days, lol!! I heard sooo many things about having made the baskets, the cloths and the soaps, it really was worth all the work! hmmmm, maybe soups next year in half gallon mason jars with crocheted lid covers....

Southern & Ozark,
I made some of both salt and sugar scrubs. The recepies I have will share if you want them.
Brown sugar scrub
couple scoops of raw sugar, a scoop of brown sugar, vitamin E, Dash of Avocado oil ( I used olive oil), dollop of honey, and essential oil of your choice.

Salt scrub
1 Cup dead sea salt, 1 Cup Epsons salt, 1 Cup sea salt, 20 drops of essential oils to your choice.

Try it, if you get a chance
