Crafters- What are you making???

I know a lot of you guys have seen these things on the crochet thread but I wanted to share with the rest of you. I just picked up crochet a couple months ago and I am having a great time and one of my inspirations was a chicken hat I saw from a lady on here. I like mine better! lol. I loved it and so did my daughter. Well....mine doesn't look anything like hers but here is my version.

This is also a version of my Fancy the Frizzle.

My daughter has been attached to this chicken since I made it. Now shes learning crochet and thinks she need to make it a blanket. It is our version of a house chicken.

We are still in the making of some chicken diapers so we can have our favorite feathered friends visit us for some TV time or these days it has been guitar hero....I'm getting really good

Cute hat! Lol... my DH is sitting here going "I would not let my kid wear a hat like that ever!" What a party pooper (my DH, I mean)! I think it is cute. I love the Fancy the Frizzle!!! That's really cute!

It is like one of those crazy hats we buy at the carnival or amusement parks that are DR. Suess or something.

I HIT THE JACKPOT!!!

I posted on my local freecycle that I was looking for yarn, material, batting etc. Because our DD in Afghanistan told me that the Egyptian hospital for the locals needs hats, socks, shoes, blankets, etc. for the children. They are wrpping the babies in several blankets because they have no clothes for them. Me and my DGD wanted to make hats and blankets for them.

I just picked up 6 LG. TRASH BAGS of yarn!!! DGD has a knifty knitter and in the last three days has made three hats. I will help her and I guess I need to relearn how to knit and learn how to crochet quickly!

i doubt they will be scared you never saw my grand mother's yard
her bird house are always full and very colorful/shiny..
