Hello all, I have lots to catch up on now the kids are back in school and the freezing cold is just around the corner.

Right now I'm knitting, knitting lots!

I feel guilty when I see "WHAT ARE YOU MAKING" because I still have a couple of things just sitting around doing nothing... I bought some santa hats last year to make little purses out of them, and they're just lying in the sewing room closet, making lots of nagging noise in my head!

Found these 3D birds on line and have been making a few. I have not picked up my beads for more than a few years. The first one was a challenge for sure. But the pattern is easy to follow. I got the pattern only since I have tons of seed beads already. Good gifts for my bird lover friends. Maybe after a few I can make one to look like a chicken..lol.

Oh yes, earlier this year I picked up a lot of sweet gum balls that are plentiful under my big sweet gum tree (not good for much except pricking your feet). I spray painted them with chrome spray paint (rattle can), then filled each hole with glitter glue, all colors and combo's, attach a wire or glue on a pretty string to hang them. They make the neatest ornaments! Would look great in a wreath.
