I've been handquilting for about 25 years now. Only this past year did I learn to use a machine enough to piece a quilt (dear friends gave me an easy-to-use one). Kathy made the top, I finished it by adding a final border she sent with it, put the sandwich together and got started. I love purple and gold together.
