For all my quilting friends I'm making Charm-alade Jars - these are canning jars with mini- quilt kits of 2 inch cut pieces of fabric along with batting, backing and pattern.
I "theme" the jars so that way i if someone likes critters or red colored fabrics, i make up the jars for them that way.
always a hit at out xmas party.

I finally took pics of the quilt and scoodie and the t-shirt tote bags

I cheated on the scoodie, I had a fleece scarf that my sister had made me several years ago that I really didn't use much. The fleece I had matched almost perfectly. So I just made the hood and sewed them together!

I still have to put the backing and binding on the quilt but I was waiting until I have the other one done so I can finish them both at once.

Right now I am sewing a decorative stitch on the hems of napkins and placemats, so DGD and I can printpaint fall leaves on them.

We haven't started the ornaments yet.

I think I'm we're going to make the chicken wire baskets, line them with the table linens and put in the ornaments and some goodies.
