Congrats Okie. I am waiting on news right now my neice went in at 2 am to have her little girl. She is a month early but they told her last week she was already over 7 lbs. This is her 6th child.

Jean that's great news that she is that big!! My twins were two months early and they were 5 lbs and 4 lbs 5 oz...I shudder to think what they would have weighed had they been only a month early!!!

Do you know what caused her early labor?

We had to give up our two young granddaughters to their abusive father yesterday; court orders. We are not a happy household this weekend.

So many creative ideas here...

I am making baskets or trays of baked goods (usually peanutbutter fudge, cut out cookies, chocolate chip cookies, buckeyes, chocolate covered pretzels, and hard tack candy) and things I have canned (caramel apple jam, apple butter and pickles).

I can't say too much else because I have a family member on BYC, but I started spinning my own yarn this year, and the goal is to knit a hat out of my own handspun yarn for each family member... 20 of them!

I am also sewing things for a couple people....
