Crafters- What are you making???

Thought I would share and idea with all of your for use for all those chicken eggs.
Not that it's as beautiful as the quilts and such that I'm getting to see. You all are sooooooo talented.
These are simple ornaments made out of blown chicken eggs. You can find the cap tops at Michaels or most hobby stores. The rhinestones on these are swarovski but any old jewelry or rhinestones of any kind will do.
They look pretty on the tree and I give them in little wooden boxes for safe keeping.
Just spray the egg and decorate. Use your imagination.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

If you try any of the tiedye please share them with us.

I just made yummy Spiced Maple Glazed Pecans.....I saw it on Martha Stewart this last week. I don't normally watch her show but every day she has had a home made gift idea for Christmas. This was easy and yummy. I'm going to put them in little mason jars and add a sticker. The template she was suppose to have posted on her website with the recipe isn't there so i'll have to do something of my own.

Beautiful quilts! I'm going to try my hand at quilt making this winter and hope they turn out as nice as your's!

The egg decorations are very beautiful too! I have always admired people who do them. My luck I would break the eggs I've worked so hard to blow and decorate.

Scrambled egg- I do sell the bags and trivets-look in the BST section.

I didn't know Martha had a maple pecan recipe. Will have to check into that.

I made honey-roast pecan halves and praline pecans this weekend. hard part will be NOT eating them before our friends show up Friday for a holiday get-together!!!

FarmerKitty, I love the feed sack bags. I was wondering what to do with all the ones piling up in the barn. So far we have just been using them to cover the trap that we catch skunks in. Five so far this week. Peeeeeeeheeeew.

Acres of Blessings, I love the flowers that you put on the first quilt and I adore the bee fabric that you used for your father's quilt. Wow, you really put those together fast fast fast.

Jacie, Those eggs are really pretty. Have you ever blown out a duck egg?
