Crafters- What are you making???

Hey all just dropping in quick to check up and say hi. Been a rough week or so but I am getting there.

Everybody is doing such great work glad to see it all, thanks for sharing.

Me I been stuck in mostly one spot so have pulled out my counted cross stitch and am getting some of that caught up. Back in the early 90's I put my three girl's handprints on 18 count cream aida cloth and started doing the Hand print saying, I finished the oldest girls in time for her to graduate in 2000 but hadn't started the 2nd daughters now I am doing the 2nd daughters. I also put my Son's handprints on aida when he was 2 in 94 so I have the 3 left. Now my daughter asked me today to do one for each of the grand kids so I will be getting the material and gettting those hand prints on it fast LOL. Might take 30 or 40 years to finish them all but at least I will have the smaller hand print LOL.

Sure wish I was getting around a little better but it seems that if I start to get going then the darn knee starts bleeding again

Oh well at least once that stops it will be better than what it was. I went for the after surgery check up and was told by the PA that both my shoulder and my knee was the worse one the Doc had ever done

. Oh well at least I can still set records for something

Thanks for all the well wishes and the Prayers they were and are needed. Keeping ya all in my prayers

Zookeeper, it's great hearing from you again. I wish your knee would behave for you. It sounds like you have many projects to keep you busy while you wait for it!

Jean, please take care of yourself so you don't end up with another surgery on that knee! Sit and Stay! If you run out of things to do...we can help

I am making purse sized first aid kits, sewing kits and game boxes for a Cross stitch I am working on.

I have a mohair wrap in production.

I have some Blue-Faced Leicester wool I am spinning to cross stitch a lovely sampler. I am spinning my own wool threads for the sheep on the project.

I have 2 new tote bags in progress.

I am also trying to learn to use the new memory craft embroidery machine a wonderful woman and new friend gifted me with. She is fabulous and I owe her big time!!!

The past couple days are the first time since Christmas I have actively worked on any projects. I am just now feeling well. I can't even describe how sick I was. All better now and ready to move and shake the crafting world!

Scrambled what will you stuff them with to keep the pins and needles sharp? Sand? Sand mixed with saw dust? I love them!

Miss P haven't been on much myself, I know your home got hit hard around Christmas. Glad to hear you are doing a little bit better. Takes so long for the house to bounce back when you get hit as hard as yours did.

Scrambled they look great. Grit will help sharpen the pins, I think oster shell might as well.

Hey all anyone else thinking of joining the quilt block of the month. I signed up 2x's and need some names between mine LOL. Scrambled is in anyone else?
