I usually do quite a few crafts at Christmastime, but my energy level is low this year. I will make my different Christmas candies for gifts. I wimped out and bought these little packaged bell crafts (make angels and snowman out of jingle bells) to make with the "kids" at work tomorrow. That's about it.
Scrambled Egg, I have been looking for what I call bun holders that are crocheted. They are to cover your bun with when you put your hair up? I only have one, would like lots more. Do you know how to crochet those? I never learned how to crochet, although my Mom did and all my sisters do. I am the only right-handed person in a family of 8, can you believe it?? No one could teach me and now I couldn't if I wanted to because of my hands.

My wife is doing the digital photogs this weekend and will post to photo bucket and then tomorrow(if I can find the time,) finish my 1st draft of my BYC web page. The wife wants me to include the wedding pictures and there's likely a debate that I'll lose and end up capitulating with yet another "Yes,dear..."

My work really isn't all that good but it does last quite a long time.

I am making heat/cold pads for Christmas!! I made them with a cover that is washable. With Chickens of course!

Southern , I havent yet but I know its wonderful! If I did I not use the oil because it can cause rot! And make a really big stink and mold!!

I am making wreaths for several people. I started making them when I was a kid. For the last ten or so years I have been selling them for a bit of extra money at winter solstice time. I use a glue gun to fasten a lot of the decorations. I prefer using all natural material, mostly from our garden, but some people prefer the bling. So I make whatever the people want.
I also make up giftbaskets with goodies we preserved from the garden, ie: jams, dried tomatoes, dried persimmons, pickles and relishes. For some I make bath baskets using homemade beeswax candles, homegrown luffa, dried lavender and whatever other goodies I can think of or come across. I try to stick with stuff that we grew, gathered or made ourselves, but sometimes I trade goods with someone else. For instance I might trade bunches of dried lavender for homemade soap.
I like the idea of crocheted washcloths, I saw a pattern for a crocheted bathmit on a cotton yarn package. That might be nice also.
I got a few new ideas here and I love those chicken wire baskets. What a great idea!
