Emulizifying wax, glycerin, Steric Acid, Citric Acid, Walnut oil, about 25 bottles of Fragence Oils, dried herbs and flowers, probably about 50 empty containers, powered milk and buttermilk, bubble bath base, 10 lbs of dedtric salts and etc. I am estactic!!!"

Is Freecycle a person Jackie?? I think I'll chcek and see if any of those plastic christmas bowls with the lids are half off after christmas and use them next year, thanks for the soup idea! no, what or whom is freecycle?! Gawd, I hope it isn't another website!! Since ya'll introduced me to etsy I am totally broke, lol! Darlene

Freecycle is an email yahoo group where people off items from their house/yard they don't want anymore. http://www.Freecycle.org is the website and you can find the one in your area. It's a neat thing. I had several new VHS tapes still in shrink wrap and a lady that worked for the Zoo got them to use to record the taping inside some of the animal pens at night. It's nice that you can help someone out with something you don't want anymore. And it's great to get something someone else doesn't want.

They don't ship them you have to pick it up that's what you sign up in an area close to you. This was the first time I ever saw this kind of stuff. It's people just cleaning out their closests.

I have never heard of that but it's a great idea, I will check it out. Wonder how they keep the greedy from getting the stuff and selling it? We have soooo mnay thrift shops and re-sale shops and even pure junk shops here, not to mention the millions of pawn shops with this being a military town. I will check out the site though, thnaks for the info! Darlene

I do freecycle in my area. I have gotten rid of several things that I no longer needed/wanted. You can also post things that you are looking for. You can't just get things you also have to give things. If you have gotten too many things without giving anything, they will not let you post any more. It is mostly to try to keep things from going to the dump.

In the past I have made too many dozens of cookies each year to count. One year I made apple strudel and wrapped them to look like hershey's kisses! I have made bread, hand painted glass vases, doll clothes and blankets, ornaments, ceramics, candies, cards, robes, pj's,things from my garden.

This year with me not working, money is verrrry tight, also all the adults in the family won't exchange gifts, they get mad at me if I make something because they say NO GIFTS! Bah humbug!! to them.

So this year I got tired of our feather mattresstop not fluffing anylonger, so I cut it in 3/4 and 1/4(messy!!!) and mand our dogs some new beds. I covered them with heavy camoflauge material. I am also making stockings. My DGD and I made caramel corn, mini-chocolate popcorn balls, popcorn strings for the wild birds. I will be making a gigerbread house for us to decorate this weekend. I always make DH a different type of truffles, this year it's irish cream truffles, coated with white and bittersweet(I thought I bought Dark-oops!) chocolate.

I have to make some gigngerbread men, DH and I for years have frosted them together. We don't do the normal frosting thoguh. We do ones in bathingsuites(we used to live at the beach) construction workers 9DH is a contractor), hunters, some risque' ones for the guys at work. We come up with all kinds of things. Peanutbutter fudge-choc.fudge is too sweet for me. Pumpkin breads. I think that is all, but I am well known for deciding to make something else at the last minute.
Almost forgot, I am making whole-wheat dog biscuits for us and our neighbors and two of my SIL's.

Monica

Forgot about the cheese crackers and maybe I'll make a dip or spread for them. and a pumpkin cheesecake for Christmas dessert.
Boy am I LAME!! I forgot about the seat cover for DH's tractor!!!
