CM now ya tell me. I just threw all my old phone books out last week I had like 20 of them. Man I never throw anything away because of just this reason LOL.

Gracias! That is "Gus", my daughter decided we needed one more critter I guess and brought him home to us about 3 weeks ago, very sweet and the dogs love him to death..like I needed one more thing to feed and clean up after!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh ya'll I saw the sweetest kitten at pet smart today. Part siamese. He had one light grey ear, one dark grey, a chocolate spot on his back and a chocolate tail. He was soooooooooooooo cute!!!

But unfortunately I couldn't bring him home. Spook would have loved him. Fat Boy would have run and hid (He's my EC cat) Bashful would just ignore him and Butterscotch would beat him up. But that's not why I didn't bring him home. How do they expect you to adopt a kitten at PetSmart for $175!!! I could get 3 at the pound for that and it would include shots and spay/neuter!!

It does seem that would be a deterence instead of an incentive..I mean really, do they want to get rid of those cats or not???

Thanks Scrambled I found that site too. It reminds me of the Amish Spring quilt pattern I have. The Amish quilt one has the batting in there and works both sides at once so it is all quilted. So if you picked a back ground fabric instead of plain muslin and put a batting in there ya would just have to figure out how to bind them together because they would already be quilted, it shows how to bind those squares together in that book with the Amish spring quilt. Just a thought

Kittens are free up here in the paper every week. Shame that those pet stores rake ya over the coals like that. And be aware that most of those animals in pet stores come from some pretty horrid places. It's hard to leave them there but you can't save them all.
