Crafters- What are you making???

ur very welcome.

i make quilts from my imagination. i have never used patterns or anything before, i just do them as i picture in my mind they would look to me done. i'd love to learn how to do them with patterns and strips and such. thanks so much for the link i skimmed it and saved it to my favs. can't wait till i get time to check it out and read it! looks like loads of info.

after the new year(i need a break,lol) i want to make a more detailed quilt one for me and one for my hubby so we all have a special blanket. so ur guy's ideas r helping me to know more of what i'd like to try doing for ours.

i got 9 quilts total to do and need them all done by night of the 23rd since the party at my mom's is christmas eve. i'm working on the lab/duck one now will have it finished tonight so will post a pic tomarrow of it. the one i'm on now is #5. i have backs ready just have to do the fronts of the last 4 and put them all together.

Most of what I do is applique. Like you say, they come from my imagination.

This one I made for my folks for one of their anniversaries. They are bird lovers.

This one was made for a friend of mine. It has to do with a dream that she had.

This one was one of my first. It was for my hubby. The back is actually pre-quilted fabric. Didn't know any better back then.

This was my very first one. It was made for my mom's 60th birthday. Everybody in the family has a patch that has sometime about them. My sister likes hot dogs with ketchup. My Nephew worked at a pizza place. It's changed over the years as we've added more members--new babies, husbands and wives

WOW Okie!! How did ya make those snowman ornaments?? They are really nice! Never would have guessed they were homemade.
