Crafters- What are you making???

purr- That is beautiful!! I wish I could paint.

okiemommy- I still do have a large collection the we still play from time to time. My dad has an extreamly large collection that he sells from and makes tapes from for peoples use. Many of his are one of the last of certain records. He has a few that are THE last ones out there. I only use scratched or warped records for the record bowls, it's like the book purses-It is hard to ruin/change something that isn't messed up.

What about decorating a candle for Xmas, need a large "church" type candle, the children can paint them with a special wax paint (from a craft shop) or put lots of sparkle glitter on, or little stickers on, then wrap them in cellophane and then stick "jewels" on the cellophane, tie with ribbon and it looks lovely. We did that for a PTA fund raiser and it went down a big hit with the children.

Great idea!! You could also use a Christmas tree candle if you can't find a church shaped candle. I have seen LOTS of those at Christmas time!

Scrambled - peppermint soap sounds wonderful. When you heat the records remember - low heat and keep an eye on them - it only takes a few minutes!
