Crazy chicken lady?

I think a webcam sounds great!!! My sister and I got lawn chairs to put out in her chicken run so we can sit and watch the chicks play. They are so fun to watch.
Her husband is going to put a roof over the area so when it rains we can still be out there "chiilin with our peeps". Patty H

Me too! I have 4-week-old chicks. I think they've given me a hysterical pregnancy! I worry about them constantly and am always checking on them. Already dreading their first night in the coop! I'm such a crazy momma hen! But I love it! They're just so fascinating and relaxing to watch!

I do that also!!!! My DH just said "NO chicken talk tonight, okay?" so I jumped back on the forum

Oh no, I was thinking I wouldn't talk about chickens as much once I had them! You ladies are proving that theory wrong

Getting my chicks TOMORROW!!!

I love the comment about taking your mcmurray catalog to school. I leave it on my night stand and look at it before I go to bed. I had to stop because I think it was giving me nightmares. I have 24 serama eggs in the incubator and I keep dreaming that none hatch or that the incubator explodes or catches on fire. So have i have to read about something other that chickens before I go to sleep!

I totally agree with all of you..I talk chicken with any and everybody. Those that will and won't listen. My DH doesn't understand but I say I can have other interests that are bad for me....and this isn't hurting anyone---and we get eggs for the family...LOL

I think this is a great thread because I thought something was wrong with me and it's nice to see I'm not alone and don't need a padded room like my family says

BTW, my middle daughter refuse to take any of my eggs (she's 34) because they aren't pasturized......even after I gave her the details from Mother Earth News about free range eggs....oh well....more for us
