Cream Legbar Hybrid Thread

Right . If you are using Barbanter rooster over Legbar hens then sex links . Males would be barred .
ok. The only hatched chick so far looks like a typical CCL cockerel down pattern. It's not dry enough to see head spot. There is a small chance that the Wheaten Ameraucana bred her, but I'm pretty sure it was the Brabanter because the Ameraucana is still young. I'm excited to see what the other 2 hatch out like. This is just a test.

Mom is definitely a CCL. I think Dad is a Cream Brabanter, but small chance of it being a Wheaten Ameraucana. One has tiny bits of feathering on its legs. I'm thoroughly confused and these are from my flock.

The lady I sold my 6 week old Barnevelders to, gave me 4 Sizzle eggs. If those hatch out hens and I put them in the coop with the Legbars. WTH will the chicks look like? and what color egg are they likely to lay? LOL LOL

Husband wants to know when my Poodle chicks are going to hatch :)

Has anyone crossed a cream legbar (the cream legbar being the cockerel) with either a welsummer, silver laced wyandotte, or a cukoo marans? I'd be very interested in seeing any off spring from these crosses and may be tempted to do them too!

I have a pullet offspring from a CL roo x Welsummer hen. Her body is heavier than either breed and her appearance favors the CL more than the Welsummer; more or less like a melanized dark gold CL. She is super sweet and people friendly, almost to point of lay...if you want a pic let me know and I will take one.
