I have a pullet offspring from a CL roo x Welsummer hen.  Her body is heavier than either breed and her appearance favors the CL more than the Welsummer; more or less like a melanized dark gold CL.  She is super sweet and people friendly, almost to point of lay...if you want a pic let me know and I will take one.

Yes, I have made lots of sexlinks by crossing my Legbar cock on silver laced wyandottes. Here is a pic of three pullets: males: Female chicks are reddish and males are darker with a silver hue and have yellowish faces. I have also crossed CLB with Golden Cuckoo Marans not Cuckoo Marans. Here is the pic:

I had a green egg layer roo that was the result of crossing a Cream Legbar roo with a Black Star hen (Rhode Island Red X Plymouth Barred Rock). I crossed him with some Blue Laced Red Wyandotte hens. There was a mix of characteristics but one resulting pullet was black laced red with a crest, rose comb, and she lays green eggs. I liked her so much I decided to try and make my own breed out of her and I've crossed her to a Lavender Orpington roo. Their chicks are mostly black but I'm hoping in the next generation to get Lavender Laced green egg layers with crests and rose combs.

Def want some of those!!

So the left is girls rite Roos?

I know that the two on the left are pullets. I know that one of dark ones is a cockerel. I believe that all three of the dark ones are cockerels but I want to wait a bit before I say they are for sure. I have more in the incubator to test the theory further.

So this my roo from blue Ameracauna over CL. You can see his barring is very clear.

I also had a hen but I had a fox problem a week ago and have 50 teenagers, what I call them lol, so couldn't figure out who was missing. Apparently she is one of the two **** it!! She was super cute. All black with copper Colombian neck, some type of flat comb and head feathers like her mama. Really upset about that!
