Here's some updated pics of my chocolate legbar chicks, the (hopefully female but could be a single barred male) is gold not cream, but I like the gold/choc combo so might continue with them

Aha, according to my notes they hatched April 27, so that would make them 1 month old yesterday

She is supposed to be cream legbar, I got her from a local breeder. So I sure hope she's pure legbar lol

Ooh they look great!!! I wonder what they'll be like when they grow up

I have 9 chicks who are now 6 weeks old and I believe they are all pullets but their coloring isn't quite what I expected for females. We had four from this same hatch who were very obviously cockerels, with larger, pinker combs. These chicks pictured are Rhodebar or Welsummer x Cream Legbar.

Do you think they are pullets? And does anyone have tips for identifying which ones (not necessarily in these photos) may be the Welsummer mix? Aside from waiting until they start to lay....
