I am still going with Prism or Prismatic Eggers.

Id like cream or bars or CL to be in the name. Even though they might not be cream or might not come out barred its nice to state the one half of the mix that will always be apart of the mix whereas the other half can be hundreds of different breeds

I can understand this perspective. That said, I work in a very technical field in which communications with the public is always difficult at best. I frequently have to remind my colleagues to talk in ways the public understands and relates - Not technical terms!

I think this principle is also relevant to "we the chicken breeders". We have our own jargon, acronyms, and terminology with which the general public is definitely not conversant. I am certainly open to considering other names than can potentially include the heritage aspect. But I would offer that it should be something that the public can understand by looking at the bird and its results, e.g., colorful eggs.

I can see the public say why do you call them prism? Answer well they lay all shades of eggs. Then people will say why not just easter eggers then.
