Surprisingly I'm getting eggs again ...CL, Basque and EE - one CL still in molt. We're going to freezing Wed.and 38 now. Brrrrr. No sun either - clouds and drizzle. ick.

Got a tiny blue (okay, blue-green ;-) ) egg yesterday. Not sure who it's from, but Polly and Tina (the CL pullets) both look and act ready.

Don't have my calendar for an exact count, but between 21 and 24 weeks off the back of my cuff.

My girls are 25 weeks today, and I got my first blue egg!! Amazingly, after hanging out in the nest boxes for two weeks, she laid in the wrong spot. But I'm crazy excited about it. It's so pretty! No clue which of the five laid it, but I'll figure that out later as they all start laying.
How in the world do you all get good pics? The egg ends up looking really pale, which it's not.

Did you all see in the new Meyer hatchery catalog they are now selling Cream Legbars. Price isn't listed though nor is the source of their stock.
