Kurt,
They don't get all the good chickens. "They produce all the good chickens". They dedicate their time and efforts into upgrading what they start with. They also produce some of the other good show animals like the Budgerigar, Canary, finches, Dogs, Cats and just about anything that can be bred.
Anything is possible if you put some effort into it. Good luck with your breeding. HS

Cant wait to its in full bloom, then we can start to think about another project to work on..

Maybe end of next year we can start to think about a new project..(Choc Orps)

Its way fun and it all takes time, but it can and will happen when you put your time and mind to it..

Hi Charlie,

I have been watching the project via your site. Congratulations on a great start.

Since you have come out about this on here, Your new signature and posting about the project I thought what better time to inquire as to what is making up this new line? I hope you decide to at the very least post pics of the hens responsible for these new babies. I could not find any pics of the Black hens that you have crossed Lester with to get your Lav Chicks. What lines are these blacks?
Are they from a proven Show line , Backyard line or production line?

Also, what is Lester's background? What was bred together to get him and the other lav roo you have?

I am sure myself along with many others would love to see pics of the hens and lines you are using for such an important and fascinating project.

Since you have chicks on the ground, I cannot see where talking about this could possibly disrupt your progress.

There are many of us very inerested in purebred stock, show stock. What goes into making of a line is important to purebred enthusiasts.

Thanks for the coming out so to speak on this exciting venture.

Thanks
Dilly

Hi Dilly, If i would share all of our secrets then it wouldnt be MY project anymore...Lots of hard work and dedication.

Our reputation speaks for itself..We dont need any names behind it..
Of course these Lavender Orpingtons are Hinkjc Lines since we are creating them.

Our end results will be a pure breeding lavender Orpington flock..which is the ultimate goal for Us...

Thanks
Charlie
