We have some good temps here now and the robins have been thick for the past couple of weeks

It's almost 60 outside and I don't even get to see it in color

I saw some wierd bright red thing in the air and it was headed straight at me. I am like what the heck? It was a cardinal

And there are other birds out there singing.

when we lived in Michigan we used to go outside on spring days and DD would say " Momma what's that yellow thing in the sky? " and I would say "I think it's the sun" and she'd say. "Nah don't be silly this is Michigan."

Thanks to Lake effect snow it seemed like the sun was gone for months

We have snow on the ground here and it was only about 38 today but the sun was shining so I sat outside waiting for Logan to get off the bus in a tank top. He got off the bus and said "Aren't you cold?" nope says I.

I know where my crochet hook is but Sophie had my skull candy and took the earpiece off one side and now I have to listen to my Ipod with the big headphones

Skand if you can see this, hope you settle into that airstream soon so you can get back to the puter

Somebody asked how Moose was. He's good I was lovin him up earlier he's learned how to giggle now I'ts sooooo cute. He's such a pudge.

I have the buckets for nests spackle buckets from the drywall guy. I love FREE!

SE: You have to keep us posted on all the races. I do have a question. What does it take to get into the big big time, like the Nationwide series and the cup series? I just am waiting to watch him on Sat. and Sundays.

Ok, I am embarrassed now. I was just telling Okie how I keep several hooks of the same size cuz my boy is always loosing them or I misplace them. That way I always have one. Well, today I have lost them all. The last time I saw my last one, Isaac was running of with it and I never saw it again.

I got my flannel for my baby blankets and it was on sale for $2 a yard!

Anyone ever crochet around the flannel? Usually I use my sewing machine with fancy stitches around them but I can crochet now!

I have been looking at different ways of doing it. You can blanket stitch with a needle and then crochet in those spaces or use a punch and make the holes and do a sc all around and then the other rounds will be the decorative stitches. What do you think will be better or easier?

You gals watch your hooks, keep them locked up if you have to.

We never had any spoons around when the kids were little. A few years later I was doing yard work and kept finding spoons shallowly buried around the yard. Come to find out the youngest was burrying them and/or using them for digging purposes. Big Sis finally told on him.

Well, I think I am going to survive. Even though my b/p was 158/110!

The doctor doesn't know if the b/p is a cause or effect. I had stopped one of my meds & he thinks because I wasn't weened off it is the problem. He said to start it again & if I start to feel better by tomorrow (which I do) that I was having major with drawls & that is why the b/p is so high. So I will check it tomorrow & call him & see what we get.

Hope everyone finds their hooks. Maybe mine will walk off to your houses. They seem to still be on strike here.

No news here, really. Was up to 61 degrees at one point today. Tried to give House Chicken a play date with the outside girls and boy, but it went rather badly. HC is aggressive now, but she still has a facial deformity that is very sensitive to beatings. It was pretty awful. So, she's going to get a "Retired House Chicken Suite" set up for her at some point. I just can't have her in the house any more. Ugh....not with the nose being overly sensitive for who knows how long during these next 9 months....

No time today though I'm going to the coffee shop to have breakfast with 2 of my SIL's and MIL and then chiropractor at 10:00. Then off to buy a gift for my nephew's 5th bday party Sunday and Shirt for DH for tonight. We are going to our friends 50'th B-day party.It's DH's cousins husband and we've been friends for 30 yrs (wow that makes us sound old).I'm not really the party type but for his 40'th I said we weren't going to make it and she (cousin/wife of birthday boy) got really upset cried and I had to send her a dozen roses to make up for it.And then we went too cause well we've been friends for 30 yrs.
It will be interesting anyway the party bus (yes I said bus) is picking us up at the house. There is a bar on board with all kinds of boose. I very rarely drink.Although in my younger days I could drink most of the guys under the table and usually did. And then the bus drives us to Dick's Last stand in providence. I am usually in bed by 9, 10 the latest. This should be interesting or at least exhausting.I'll tell you how it all went tomorrow if I can get out of bed.
