Chix it's gona be a few weeks yet before we are open and ready.. I have a lot of seeds to start still yet and more cuttings to get rooted.

DH has been busy making me some more tables for the plants .....

Have some sprouts up and more to come

Hey purrrr Well at least it is still hangin in the 30-40 range here which is fine by me. Much much better than it was. Supposed to rain tomorrow and wash the snow away. Supposed to snow a lil next week but I doubt that will amount to much.


I will be picking up some new silkie peeps sometime next week.

And all I keep thinking is I have too many chickens. Geesh! But Silkie peeps? They are just miniature dogs with feathers.

well im off to pack getting the camper this weekend...so i'll have to clean that up a bit. next week my chickens and bunny leave and go stay with a fellow bycer who i have come to know and has become a great and wonderful friend.
once we get back on our feet thouigh i will be getting them back as she is just "chicken sitting" for me....
well hookers i will miss you all

Well --- finished another one. I'm make large afghans for the DD and DIL's Have 4 to do. Finished 2 now. The 1st was the large hexagon I posted. This one is for my petite (size 1) DIL so I wanted it lacy and soft. Used a large hook and very soft yarn. It measures 5' x 6'

Thank you gals. Yes 5x6 is good size. All the kids said they wanted them big enough to wrap up in. And this makes a good size for that.
The ones I made for the DS's and SIL's were 6x7 because they are all BIG guys!! The girls are all small but these will be wrap arounds for them also.

Anyone know where to find a pattern for crocheted peeps (marshmallow bunny & chicks)? The one I like on Ravelry isn't on the link it's supposed to be.

I know I could wing it and make my own pattern, but with all the other projects I have on my radar right now. . . I'm just not feeling that motivated to do so!

I didn't know these existed!! I would LOVE to have some peeps patterns!!

Well DH found my hook. Last night! YAAAAAAY!!! I knew he would. Anytime I lose something he is able to find it for me. I love him
