ok, call me lost... what is up with the color text in posts again? I can read it, but I can't seem to activate it from anywhere...so my posts are always going to be boring and black except for my jaunts into bling graphics...

NoChicks you are too funny! You can send that cleaning man in a kilt or a quilt to my house!

I'll just borrow his quilt because I am eternally cold lately. brrrr...

Gee, now you can fight mud in the house! lol You guys were hit harder on your side of the state than we were. But we still got down to 19 degrees and ice and sleet. The chickens were pecking at the sleet this morning and then tilting their heads as if wondering what is this she's feeding us? It's melting some here. Glad I'm the only one going in and out today (well, except for the dog. And he wipes his feet on the mat when I tell him to!) lol

He came in last night with a bag of crochet books he picked up at his favorite book store!

But not complaining...cause this time it was for me..

In the pile were 2 books called...."Learning to Knit"...I will try to nail more of crochet down...but that's next!

The magazines are old...but still have lots of helpful info.

Some of the magazines are called 'Work Basket" anyone know these? They are really old. Small magazines.

The scarf is beautiful...out of my league still, but lovely...the chicken is cute too! I saw a chicken toaster cozy a long time ago...thought it was mighty cute too.

I've seen those workbasket mags too...very cool!!! Be aware though that if you make clothing items from old catalogs that the sizes are MUCH smaller than current so unless you are a twig, you will need to go bigger with the pattern. There are so many cool kitchen items in those mags..very good score there Gwen ..keep the Rev a bit longer!!!

Just remember, when you learn ANYTHING new from those mags, share them with us! We're greedy like that!
I have got a ton of stuff I have to get caught up on. All these chicks keep distracting me. Hmm, maybe if we didnt have at least 20 in all the major rooms in the house, I could stay on the same brainwave. lol Start to head to the kitchen, someone's peeping at me, gotta go see who.

I know Skand, I need more hours in my day too...or maybe less projects......nah....more hours, have to keep the projects!!!! My deadline to finishing that stupid afghan for the kid is this weekend. Iam tired of it and my son is going to see her next weekend so he can take it with him..it's pretty good sized now, I will take pictures..with a sunglasses warning before I post! Have a great day ya'll!!!
