Well the east half of the plastic was gone and DH & oldest DGS was putting a 30x50 tarp on it. They had all but completely tied down when I got home. A friend of ours came by and helped DH get it stapled on as the tie down was just to hold til it could be secured. Now that it is stapled all around.

we might have lost a few plants, but all in all so far so good.

I have 10

I have a dozen Golden Cuckoo Marans eggs coming and Just got some Mile Fleur eggs in today

so as soon as the Cuckoo eggs come in then all and the 2 dozen Buff orpington eggs go in the bator.

I have still Been fighting this ear ache and sinus stuff.

So I am proubly going to turn in. Night everyone

I have worked and worked on that purple afghan and the progress is so slow on it!! How is yours coming along Okie? Where is Okie?! I think I will get it to a decent size with the ruffled blocks and then border the outside with different purples to make the size as I dont want to work on it till Christmas! It might be the prettiest one I have eer made though, very feminine looking too would make such a gorgeous babyghan with soft yarns and little ruffly blocks!!

Karanleaf, purr thanks I missed you gals too.

well still no gardening today garden is still really boggy, but maybe tomorrow. well I have been here and there crocheting hats and wrist bands. but mostly working on cleaning bators and turning eggs and building cages. and such. well the busy bees ladies club here that is our community quilting club, well they are starting work on my mils quilt shes had her name on the list for 2 years to have a quilt made. so that will be something to see. I wonder if you could make a quilt with crocheted blocks? that would be neat.

well anyone who would like to do snail mail pen pal with me let me know, I think that would be another great group idea as then we might could all keep in touch even those of us(aka me) that keep having puter troubles and can't always be on alot of the time. well today is a nice warm day and I think I will go work on building me a rooster pen so I will chat with ya'll in a day or two. be safe and enjoy the spring flowers Maw.

Karan glad your damage wasn't worse. I hope the weather settles down for everyone. Spring has been about as mean as winter so far.

Not sure if anyone wants to hear my news or not... Got to hear the baby squirrel's heartbeat yesterday...nice and strong, doc said it sounded great. I, however, need to take it real easy because lucky me, I am at risk for high blood pressure. It is already borderline high and they want to watch me real close. I am not on bed rest yet, thank goodness, and if I end up there, you will be seeing a lot more of me. Now, today, I am doing a voluntary rest day, because yesterday I was so wound up I had high BP all day after my doc appt.

Anyway, that's the update. I am ok, and baby is ok, but we have to be a lot more careful this time around.

And part of my relaxation therapy is that my hooks finally came off strike and I am working on a fuzzy baby's blanket.

SE, I have completed 3 blocks so far;one more than when I posted the pic showing the yarn colors

I haven't been working on it since I have been sick for almost a week now, and other commitments are just taking up my time and priority right now. The twins will be 3 this weekend!!!

Those are my feelings about them turning 3 lol!

Well If I forgot anyone, I apologize! I have been run ragged lately. I just need some restful sleep lol. It's already starting to hit that uncomfortable stage...

I thought I had another month before I hit that!!

Oh come on yall! Someone has got to want to join the new magic yarn ball swap. Amy just started the new thread yesterday after we all cried for her to start a new one cuz we had so much fun with the first one. There are 7 people signed up so far.
