Howdy all, first off well beth, love those booties, glad to have ya.
karan glad you didn't loose to many plants, hearing you talk about your greenhouse makes me think I sort of have a mini green house right now in the livingroom 3 kitchen chairs and a ton of plastic and tape and 7 flats of plants waiting for the weather to clear up. my corn is about 3 inchs hight right now and my beans and sunflowers are about 4 to 5 inchs and then we have tomatons strawberries and so forth. well not much going on to day just wanted to drop in and say hi and have a safe weekend. love yalllll chickkidides Maw.

Those are the same booties I made!!! Yours are so cute with the flower!!! I made them with brown on the bottom (like a sole), and pink on the top, with a white button. They match the swirl blanket that I think was in the previous issue of Crochet Today.....

Hey everyone hope all is well.
I lost one of my australorps today. No idea why. She was one of my youngest laying hens. Down to 22 hens now. Guess I should get my order in for more soon. Still trying to decide if I want to start hatching my own. I have recently gotten really interested in raising bees and that has gotten my attention off of looking into getting my own bator. What is the cheapest way to go with bators without compromising too much quality and taking the chance of not getting a good hatch rate?
Any ones advice is welcome.

Great job on that babyghan Purple!! I think we made a new word there you know? We all use it and I don't think it was a word before Karan started her thread, how cool is that?!

Purple..bee keeping interests me too, alot, my family says no, no, no!! Bees only like one person with one smell...anyway, do a search on byc for bees and look at the hive Miss Prissy's husband made her last year, it's very nice. She got new bees last spring so if they stayed, she should be harvesting honey this year. There is a thread somewhere though with lots of pictures, I remember seeing it, could be helpful. If it were me I'd be looking for a book called bee keeping for dummies too!! got to be one there is for everything else!!

Elizabeth that babyghan is beautiful! Good luck at the track tonight S.E.
Our neighbor took up bee keeping and then after he got stung a couple times he developed a very dangerous allergy to bee stings. He had to get rid of all of it. I wonder if there is a way to find this out before going to all the expense of it? sure would be nice to have your own honey.
Crocheting is very easy you just need someone to show you and practice a bit.

Bee keeping would be neat. I love fresh honey. I get mine from a guy close by me. The stuff with the comb in it.

Karan those hostas are starting to sprout up so give me a call if you still want to come get them. You could get a lot of pots of starts off one of these monsters. I noticed my bleeding hearts are coming up too.

My azaelas are not looking too good. I hope they aren't dead.

I hope it's a nice day so I can get some stuff done outside. I'm feeling a bit better just a sinus cold.
