Thanks SE I know that we would be instant sisters on site. My grammy always taught me to look at the postive side of everything. And that's how I grew up.

DH got home about 11PM from the tornado damage there, he said that were 2 that died

soo much distruction there were 4 tornado s that went through the area. So awful

I am so very very thankful that all of my family are alright

Momma is without power but she is safe and stayed at my sisters they are bringing Momma's deepfreeze stuff over to put in my freezer. I am so glad all are safe

I pray for those that have the loss and hope for the recovery.

We are safe and have everything still intack

Yes so far the Greenhouse is doing good, time will tell.

If it supports it's self the first couple of years that will be great

Then I will be looking for it to do a profit.

Ugh I lost track of everyone already. that's what I get for trying to multitask with Mommy Brain syndrome.

Anyway, Karan glad everyone is safe and prayers for those in the storm. We had big thunder and flooding near the lake...lots and lots of rain.

Chix, love the cake. You can come and do my daughter's Harry Potter cake next week.

Sun's out here today to dry things up. Maybe I will get out in it. If I am sneezing in the house, it has to be better outside, right? *sigh* allergies are the pits.

I already showed yall the befor pic. so here is the after pic. I got my mother to come over and help me unwind it yesterday. It was so pretty and a lot more fun if someone is there to share it with you.

My mother joined the swap too so I can't wait for hers to get here and maybe she will call me to let me come help her too.

I almost came home with a mama and baby Canada goose today. The darn thing made her nest in a busy parking lot. I have a lake. I wish I could go back and rescue her. The fire dept wasn't real encouraging about me trying to get a mama Canada Goose into the back of my car....

Now after watching that video, I want to rescue some baby squirrels.

evening gals, well I made it throught 80 screaming kids backed in to a play gym I don't know how and I am sure my hearing is damged though. but my girls had a ball, when I get the new usb cord for my camera I will see how fast I can upload a pic, oh i am so excited now maybe I can start posting more pics too. scoot an karan I am glad that ya'll made it through the storms safely, mom called my this morning woke me up saying OMG! are you and the girls ok! Of course I had no clue what she was talking about as I slept through the entire storm, she goes on to say in this area that wister was hardest hit, but I think she has total not had enough sleep cause of her weather radio cuz it don't look like we had any kind of storm round here. I sure hope everyone will be ok.

well I am fixing to have me a big ebay sell a thon, got clean out the house.

I hope LC is ok. I heard MO got hit pretty hard. I think she's in MO>.. anyone else in MO hope you are all ok. Really hoping the monsoon and storms take a break or stop (which would be nice) and just go down to nice gentle rains every once in awhile to water the gardens....

Maw, glad you are ok. Scoot, hang in there with the storms, just keep hooking. Pics of the bib!

(my attempt at a bib is turning out to be something else entirely and I am not quite sure what yet.)

Algo, I wonder if you could pickle radishes, you could probably make a yummy relish or something with them. Mmmm! For the relish I would just slice them up real thin or grate them and make a relish like you would any other like a green bean relish. Or for pickling you could probably keep them whole, and treat them like a cucumber would be treated for pickling. If you can pickle watermelon rinds and onions I am sure you could pickle a radish. Now I want to try it too!

LC lives about an hour from me in North Carolina and the only tornado around here was my husband snoring last night!!

So I'm sure she's fine, probably just thrilled scholl is out and she can work without the kid noise for a bit, course she may be on the teacher's schedule and have 2 months off, lucky duck!!
