Crochet "Chat"

lutheranchick, I just realised that you are a neighbor, literally. I live in Newton, went to Foard, and most of hubby's family lives in Vale (we almost did, his gm gave us a choice between land in vale, or here).

Anyone want my Spring Zombie Cold? I call it that because I feel like a zombie and I know I look like one, or worse. Ugh... th I just hope it goes away in the next day....I have no hope of it lifting before tomorrow.

Oh honey, you just keep getting zapped with all sorts of issues while pregnant. That's the pits! I would tell you to drink some orange juice, but that has too much sugar! roll lol lol lol lol Can you take some extra vitamin c tablets or something? I hope you feel better soon!!
What happens tomorrow Ris? I forgot; is it one of the birthday parties?

I am drinking orange juice anyway. heck with 'em. wink Um...no nothing happens tomorrow. Fortunately the birthday parties are done, but they are what gave me this cold. I just want it to be gone, that's all. It's on it's way out. fl Now I just have to stop waking up at 2AM and staying up for an hour or more before I go back to bed. tongue Sorry to keep whining at people. bleh.
Hey, Okie, PM me or let us know about your appt today with the diabetes person. Sorry I can't help you with the gauge question, I just usually make things that don't need a gauge because I have never understood it.

LOL..now I get to tell you to be careful

I tried the low sugar orange Juice and it was gross...made out of fake stuff I suppose. Took my blood sugar after lunch today and it was 84

That's pretty good isn't it?!?

The appt with the diabetes counselor went really well. know the specific foods and servings that cause blood sugar to be too high, so now I feel like I can actually manage this. I know that they gave me the monitor the other day, just to get me started, but without telling me serving sizes, it really was annoying

I don't think that you're being whiney. Life isn't rainbows and sunshine for everyone all the time, and to expect you to act like everything is peachy when you are going through stuff is unreasonable. You're usually pretty upbeat, so I wouldn't worry about this little 9 month blip in the road anyway

So I guess no one knows how to help me with getting gauge to come out right? ah well I'm on my own I suppose.

glad the diabetes thing went well, Okie. I hope I wasn't too off track on all my crazy advice. As far as gauge all I know is it has to with hook size, tension of your crochet stitches and ummmm luck?

Scoot, hope you feel better soon. I still feel like poo too.

Hope everyone has a good night.

Oh I know I was missed, I had to say something so you all knew I was back!

Hubby got out today, he is doing good. I am hobbeling along pretty good.

I know thoes colds are pretty ugly when you are pregnant. Can't take anything but, tylenol! Seems my girls always get sick when they are pregnant. Speaking of which, our daughter found out she, is having a BOY in October!

Congrats on grandbaby boy in October, No Chicks. Maybe my baby princess squirrel girl and your grandbaby boy can be email pals sometime.

Since they are both due in October.

Yup, ready for this cold to be gone. Shoo shoo. go away. Now DH has it though...wheee....

whew, glad I was of help Okie. It's good to have some reassurance that I was on track since it means I will hopefully be on track for my situation as well. Keep up the good work now that you have the routine.

I better crawl into bed and hide... *cough cough* (yes, I covered my mouth...)
