ooo, chix that would be great. I think my house chicken is about 11 inches from top of her back shoulder blades to vent. I don't know how long she is from her chest though... if you need to have measurements, let me know.

I am off to go enjoy my night alone. No hubby no daughter... and my house chicken put herself to bed early... I have no life.

I don't think I am ready for a teen yet, Your majesty. I would take her though otherwise. I am feeling totally abandoned tonight.

.... My house chicken decided she felt better and went right for her oyster shell after I let her out of her box, so she might keep me company yet. She knew what she needed. Rest and calcium. I think it shocked her a little bit with the soft shell thing.

I have one that I made today that I think may fit. It is way too big on Mabel. I'll send it out maybe tomorrow....def Monday. I work tomorrow but maybe hubby will let me escape from my prison for a bit. Pm me your addy.

I have a D'Uccle and a bantam RIR that I would like to take. Do you make diapers that small?

Is this a new small business for me?

My passion is sewing. I have made my daughter so many outfits that people just freak out over so I know I can perfect the perfect chicken diaper. I have been sewing with my grandma since I was 7 and she even let me hand quilt with her. I only ran they sewing machine over my finger once.

Tough leaning. Man I miss my grammy. She also taught me to make the best pie in the whole world. I make the best deep dish apple pie.
I need to post my kids quilts on here... I'm pretty proud of them. They love them because they know MOM made them.
The reason I know so much is because my dad was very sick when I was a young child with stomach cancer and I stayed at my grammies house when my dad was getting treatments. My grammie and I was so close that I kept staying on weekends and then eventually my mom decided that I could just stay there to help her get her chores and things done....one of them her garden and chickens. This of course after my Dad passed away when I was 8 yrs old. She passed away at 98 years of age
I just know that my grandma was the most Christian loving woman that I have ever known and that she taught me stuff that Mom would never ever want to teach me.....if she knew how. Thanks for reading my story....I had the time to share and I want everyone to know I really did have the best grandma~ no matter what anyone says..

There has NEVER been a case of bird flu in the U.S. < at least thats what murray mcmurray says in its catalog. lol

Also with the cat bite. make sure you wash your hands really really well with soap. Use some either hand sanitizer or alcohol on it. Keep it clean and stick some neosporin on it when you go to bed. It's prolly just sore from puncture wounds. They always hurt worse then a rip, cause your not sure exactly how deep it is, with a rip, you can see how deep it got. If you start getting those red streaks emitting from the wound, its infected. DO NOT USE PEROXIDE ON IT AFTER THE FIRST DAY!! Unless it is infected. Peroxide is a debrider.. meaning it will clean out the dirt and gunk, but will also eat away new healthy skin growing in.

Yes, and black widows, trantulas, brown recluses, scorpians, tumbleweeds, tornadoes, whirlwinds, hail, sleet, basically, we got it all!

Chix, tell him our State Troopers, Border Patrol, Sherriffs, City Police, Highway Patrol are all hiring in our town right now. They have even raised the signing bonuses lately. Last couple of years, we have lost a lot of our officers. Besides, I need me a new neighbor. One that totally understands my chicken fasination!
Oh our silkies, we got some from Dipsy Doodle. Thats where our lil naked neck came from.. Poor Norman.. gettin picked on everytime we walk by the lil guy!

That day the lady from church came by to show me the broomstick thing, her daughter was right across from her. Never once did she say that she has taught her daughter any of the crocheting, sewing, even speaking spanish... She's full blood mexican, and cannot even understand her mom when she goes off talking spanish to the neighbors, friends, even the mexicans that go to church!
It just plain out disgusts me when I see that happening. If you know it, share the knowlege! Knowlege is power, there is no possible way on this earth to not know what an invaluable lesson teaching kids is!!! If I knew half of what my mom was taught bout sewing, farm living, etc, I would be happier then happy, but my mom decided NOT to teach me anything. Sewing, crochet, cooking, living off the land, nothing... I was taught, drive through, microwave, and beg friends parents for homecooked meals!

I will argue about the best grammie in the world.

She really was the real deal. Now my mom and his mom are so busy at the casinos and doing their "own" thing and not inviting the kids over like mine did it just makes me sick.... Makes me think....

What is happening? I know my kids have it better than I did. They have a great MOM!!!!
