And Operation Baby Watch commences. I suspect it will be awhile until we hear from Okie. She will have at least 4 days in the hospital and unless they have wireless there and she has a laptop... I know I will be sitting at the edge of my seat in impatience!

I passed my glucose test! Woo hoo! no Gestational Diabetes for me! I have new and different complications to worry about, but at least I don't have that one!!!

We are both doing great!!! He was delivered at 12:12 pm and weighed in at only 7 lbs 10 oz! I say only b/c he was expected to be much bigger. He was 19 and 3/4 inches long.

We ran into a snag after they took him out. I had what's called an adhesion on my scar, that wouldn't stop bleeding. It wasn't bleeding badly, and the Dr said it was only like a little scrape, but he had to try several different things to get it to stop bleeding before he could close me up completely.

So I feel like the right choice was made to deliver c section. Had that ruptured while I was laboring it could have been a really bad deal. They were already in there during the c section, so there were able to deal with it immediately.

YAY! OKIE and BABY! Congratulations!!!!

Ohhhh....the scary bleeding thing though...ugh! My OB and Ultrasound doctors won't stop talking/warning me about *that* and I have Previa, so I guess I am even more at risk.

Thanks everyone. I am pretty happy I don't have to add the diabetes to the new and different complications that I already have.

(I sure hope I get wireless. Wonder if I can find out without having to actually ask. Last time I was at the hospital, wireless didn't even exist...and well, let's just say I hope they've updated a few other things at that hospital too.)
