Crochet "Chat"

Okay, ya'll, back to the drawing board. I just got a very nice pm from one of the moderators - they have decided that "Hook'n'Chick" is just too suggestive for the board. Not everyone understands "hooker-speak". I'm disappointed, but I'll get over it! So, what do you think about "Happily Chick-less"?

dang.............. LOL ok let me think here give me a few....

Yes, believe it or not, I do not want chickens. Ever.

The only chicken I want would be on my plate. (Or in a bowl of Chuck's soup!) Don't get me wrong, the pictures ya'll have posted have been really cute, and they look sweet. But I'm not even tempted!
The crochet club is what drew me here, and you guys are why I stay. In only three months, you've become like family!

I have a houseful of sickies! Myself included. Been to Dr. appts, the pharmacy, nebulizer treatments every 3 hours for 2 kids, trying to lay down to rest in-between all of that!

Now we need the pics of the fun fur ones you made him. LOL Hope you and your family feels better soon. Same thing going on around here.

Thanks Scoot I think I will use the hat pattern you gave me the link for. After I calmed down and figured out it wasnt going to be that hard to find a pattern. Just needed to do a little searching. I have no idea how to make hats but I am looking for the pattern for my Magic yarn ball swap partner. Will tell who it is after its over.

Scrambled-- you wouldn't believe how much yarn I have. It is kind of sad really cuz I keep buying more and more for projects I want to do but still have so many others I have already started and now after I got my last shipment in the mail of yarn I could barely get it to fit in my yarn box without the top looking funny. I have had so much yarn for so long, I think I would prolly panic if I ever ran out.

Thanks, rocket! I was trying to find that link to share with algo, and got distracted by work.
Algo - I had to look around this morning to find out what was going on too. I nearly fell out of my chair when I realized someone had "gifted" me like that!!

That's funny. I have some grant money that I "earned" for having all my requirements from the state for my daycare. I was almost temped to get an incubator with some of the money cause the kids would just love that. I'm afraid I will become addicted.

*nod* Chix, I am pretty sure you will get addicted. Depends on if you can handle the waiting period of the incubator.

And guess what I got in the mail today! The cutest little chicken diaper you ever did see!

It is too small for my mammoth house chicken, unfortunately, but I am going to save it for either one of the chicks who is probably going to become a house chicken, or the silkies roo, if it ends up I can have them.

Thanks so much for sending it! I can also add more elastic if need be. I am not sure if I would ever get Cha Cha to wear it though...She's kind of skittish. Still, thank you so much. We now have a perfect demo for making more, and I get to save this one for a small chicken...hint hint that means I have to get a small chicken...dh, are you listening?
