Thank you sooooo much for the pattern. I am itching to give it a try, but have to finish my swap squares first. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm getting much, much better at deciphering the abrev mumbo jumbo.

You have a point there. I'm sure they can do the instructions a lot clearer. I like the patterns that give you a diagram with the names of the stitches. I bought my first pattern book like this when we lived on Okinawa in the 70's. Magic Crochet books are that way and I'm sure there must be more but I haven't seen one.

Here's some of the things I've been working on this week.

B-day present for a friend. A beanie head hugger w/ matching wrist warmers and goats milk soap.

Here's a better pic of the wrist warmer. I love them and they are so simple to whip up.

X-mas gift for my Sis (Beanie head hugger w/ matching arm warmers)

For another friend's B-day. I think I'll try crocheting the shell pattern hat to match them.

The idea of diagrams is encouraging. I love to crochet but cannot follow written instructions. My hats are all make-it-up-as-you-go.
