Thanks! It was a lot of fun to make. so wrote the patten out. just had to make me one too.

The hat band is removable so i can wear it whenever I like. I think I will make a spring hat. maybe with flowers on the band..

Just finished this for a new baby at church. very simple patten...just sc,hdc.

Also finish the shoulder blanket for mom to wear when she stays with us. Top part is made with a long loom and the rest is dc. with shell st patten. experimental project.

I worked on a beanie head hugger this weekend for my brother in law. He's in Australia, so summer for us will be his winter. I had a bum skein of homespun Lion's Brand where the inside part was connected to the end of it, so every time I pulled the inside yarn to work with it a big fat lumpy knot would pop out of the center. It was really interrupting the flow of my work. I fought & fought w/ it. Finally I decided to take the tail end and roll it into a ball. Took forever to untangle the whole skien, but finally got it so I could work on the beanie. Then I ran out of yarn before it was complete.

So then I worked on another started beanie for DD's friend.

So besides the Spring Swap squares, what is everyone working one at the moment? I have a long list of small projects I want to finish up for friends & family members.

I mentioned about a week ago that my mom had requested an off-white doily (traditional/classic) and I finished it and blocked it last night, then unpinned and snapped a pic this morning:

I'm feeling quite pleased with it (and want to make one for our coffee table). It's huge - 21 inches in diameter.

You should be pleased w/ it, b/c it's gorgeous! Oh the tiny, intricate work. I have some handed down to me that my grandmother made, but I haven't attempted to make any yet. Thanks for sharing!
