I really like the edging on the hat. The hand towel & dishcloths are soo festive! Love them too!!!

Where did you find this and the monkey pattern? I have a new great nephew and would like to do something fun like this instead of a blanket?

Sorry should have read a little better I see you made up the pattern, well done very cute.
It was pretty simple but got a litter weird when it came to the wings. It's all done in SC and was pretty simple for the most part. I started to write out a pattern for it but don't remember what i did with the paper. I will see if I can get my sis to find the owl bib so i can rewrite it. I know my little sister probably has no idea where the monkey one is, she's doesn't really have an appreciation for handmade gifts.

I found a crochet pattern for the quilt called tumbling blocks today that I actually like, well after a few alterations. And it is simple to boot! Woo Hoo

I'm envious of people who crochet blankets. I don't have the patience for it. I started a baby blanket a year ago and haven't gotten 1/4 of it done yet. Whoops.

I do enjoy making animals and such.

A few of my favorites that I've made:

LOL! Kim I had no idea that yarn bombing was sooo cool!!! It's been forever since I checked in here. You all are making some wonderful things!

Great hat and scarf Alethea! I swear I had made a set almost exactly like that with dark green and black trim and flowers instead but they disappeared with one of the kid's friends over the years. I used to keep a bunch of these sets in the closet for when the kids had snow trips and some of their friends showed up unprepared. I know, such a Mom thing to do. Unfortunately it's the cutest ones that never get brought back. Oh well hope they enjoyed them. I like the variegated towels too.
