That is a lovely painting. I didn't know chickens lived that long. I have never had one as a real pet. Just food to me. I know that sounds bad.

No, he's a Delaware. He comes from some good breeder lines out of Ohio, a super sweet guy, my good buddy.

He's had a hard winter and I'm happy to have this lovely painting of him since he's in his "golden years" now.
