I was so taken by the little crocheted chickens, I didn't even notice the adorable live model in the photo.

Me too after seeing this post I had to scroll back and see the live model. The chickens, live and yarn are cute dragonbird.

Aww thanks! I winged it..but I did write up the pattern...I stuck it on my blog-it's free if you want to make some. I figured the world needs more chickens..if only made of yarn haha!

I whipped up these little Rooster Of My Dreams ornaments for some of my chicken loving friends for Valentine's Day...I got a little crazy and made a ton of them-after making these I made a bunch in size 10 thread and they turned out even cuter-but I stuck them in the envelopes before I remembered I should have taken a photo! haha! They were only 20 minutes to make for each one (and that includes weaving in ends!) whohoo!

I don't know how to get to your blog. Can you post the pattern here. They're really cute.

Here is what I've been working on

It is for my sisters birthday. But the further I get I feel that it looks like a baby boy blanket.

Oh my gosh I made a blanket very similar to that for my nephew (before he was born)! Love the pattern and love the colors! I think they work well for a baby boy AND a girl...it is very classy-nice and warm colors! Great job! Here was mine:

Hi guys! I'm so happy I found this thread! I started crocheting about a week and a half ago and I've made a few things! What inspired me to start was a unicorn pattern I saw on Facebook! I'm working on #2 now, but im fully obsessed! I also managed to get my room mate obsessed and we started a "coffee and crochet" group at the vet school. I'm teaching a bunch of other people to make unicorns as well!
