Good Morning

Jens, I don't know if you got answered on how to finish off your square, but I clip my yarn, leaving a 2-3 inch tail & then I do a slip knot & weave in my ends with the hook or a yarn needle.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking but wasnt for sure.

I'm 28 and I have to look hard to look my age. People tell me that I look too young to have four children. That may be why I get dirty looks at the grocery store when they're all with me

My oldest is 10, so you give me hope that in the next couple of years I will still look young

Karan, I think you meant to say, you can't force it. You typed can lol

Hey, ya'll. I'm at home today - woke up last night shivvering so bad, the whole bed was shaking. Then began running a fever. I don't feel too bad except for my head, but it's not too good an idea to take a fever into a school of 1100. If one gets it, they all get it!
Scoot, you & family are definitely in my prayers. Teenage troubles seem to be worse with girls, and mammas take it all too personally. There is life beyond all of this - you just hang in there. Odds are that dd will come out on the other side a better woman for all she's been through! Just continue to let her know how very much you love her. Even when she doesn't want to hear it!!
SE - love the scrubbie! Def a gift!! I think that basket idea would make a great gift for any woman!

karanleaf - Grandma... I pray I dont see that for another 10 -15 years!

okiemommy - Thanks

Hey do any of you all check your kids computer or myspace? We have spywear on our computers so we see EVERYTHING the say or WHEREVER they go. The kids all know its on there but I think they seem to forget...
thats what I'm doing today spying. At 1st I felt bad about it but not anymore its help us find things out that other wise we would have no clue about with some on them! With the world today, I think its something a parent has to do.

Now Noah he is in the same room with us and his computer and I have his passwords to his gaming stuff. He has just so much computer time , spends more time playing his wii. But yes you should keep an eye on what they are doing,

I used to be ticked off with my mom going through my stuff whenever me and brother would go to camp or whatnot.... But I got over it, and had a clean room to boot!
The only thing I can offer as a former trouble follower... Dont invade privacy too much, cause then it leads to feel the need to hide stupid stuff. Like, well, she'll find it either way, might as well make it a good search on her end.
My mom forgot to talk first, to see if there was a need to search. She didnt let me know to come talk to her. When I did, she turned it back to it being my fault, I had horrible friends, etc.
THank goodness my oldest is 6 !! Got a ways to go before the snoop test!

I came out way stronger minded, happier hearted and more demonstrative of my love for my kids, then what anyone else in my immediate family has done. So it is possible to have "bad kids" turn into way better adults. Have faith, patience, and an open mind!

You got it It is always best to talk you can't expect to be their bestest friend but you can be open with them and let them know that you are there and they can talk with you. My Boys and I talked about every thing and Yes I DO Mean Everything!!!! THeir friends were kinda shocked about the things we would talk about, but then some of them felt comfortable enough to come to us too about things they were afraid of to talk with their folks. Just do your best not to over react when some of the conversation gets a bit uncomfortable. Remember they are young and trying to learn so being open and just listening is a really big thing. It shows alot of respect, love and honor.
