Very clever idea. Looks nice too.I just finished what I'm calling a fusion afghan, it is a crocheted blanket quilted to a pieced fabric backing. The crocheted side came from a recent granny square swap on BYC.
Crocheted side
Quilted side, on my next one I am going to pay more attention to placement of the squares on this side of the blanket too.
I made a bunch of these and took them to work to sell. I sold a bunch and took orders for more. they were all sold to men for stocking stuffers for their ladies of all ages. thanks again. I made them on and off all day yesterday.

Cute is overrated. At my age, I dread anyone calling me cute when I start drooling onto my bib.
It's easy to learn! Especially with YouTube. How cute, I wish I could crochet.
It really is easy, the hardest part of crocheting is reading the patterns. But it is easy to undo your mistakes just pull the thread and try again. You know I may have to give it a try again, I have all of the hooks from every size you could imagine and I even have a double hook don't know what she would have used them for, my mother was a crocheter, I love the little animals that you can make, and I even have a book on them.
