Crochet "Chat"

I put away the variegated afghan I was working on when I discovered I didn't have enough yarn. I'll look for a suitable yarn to supplement it when I return in the Spring.

Meanwhile, I'm making squares for the geometric shapes swap, which isn't happening yet. I'm just taking scraps with me and will work on them while I'm gone. If the swap doesn't happen, I'll do something else with them. I'll also work on a scarf in airports.

I am making owls and working on some African flower hexagons or are they pentagons LOL can't remember how many sides those have. I am currently looking for Sun bonnet Sue crochet projects I found lots of pics for the potholder from Annies Attic but the pattern is no longer available

I have searched high and low for a copy but none seem to be available. If anyone can figure out the pattern from a photo let me know and I will give you a finders fee! PM me your email and I will send you photos, I am not good at designing my own crochet projects

Those owls are really cute. My DIL to be would love them. She has a thing for owls. I am currently using my scraps of yarn for finger puppets.

I'm thinking to save them and put them in my 3 year old grandsons plastic Easter eggs he hunts for on Easter. If I can hold out that long that is

hi everyone. I am still making spiral pony tail holdres. I plan on making 100 of them. I have 44 done. I had more but sold some.
love the owls and finger puppets. are the patterns for those available on the internet? I would be really interested in the chicken.
I have spent alot of time over the last few weeks at the hospital with my mom. I bring crocheting with me. it helps to pass the long hours I spend in her room.

I got the owl pattern from atergcrochet online

The owls are so cute! The finger puppets too.

I have two projects going right now, working on a fusion blanket w/ the fall swap squares, just figured out I actually still need to crochet 3 more squares for the blanket. I have finally got all the quilted squares finished just need to trim and square them, then I should be on to layout and assembly.

I am also working on an amigurami doll, hopefully of the Rose character in Doctor Who. (the episode w/ the pink 50's skirt for any Who fans)

I have an idea for the geometric shapes if that swap is still in the works (for the assembled project that is I don't have any patterns picked out yet)

I've been super busy working on my little cousin's throw blanket. my hands are hurting from all the hooking, i can't believe it! I will post a progress picture here in a little bit I really like how it turned out.

Cool a couple of my Daughters friends are whovians. I bet the would flip to have one of those.

I just finished weaving in all of the tails and it's finally done! 49 traditional, five-round Granny Squares with a Shell edging. It's for my (soon to be)9yr old niece as an early birthday present, she should go nuts over it. We're headed over the Pass to see them today.

Was done by myself(green), my sister(purple) & grandmother(yellow)... we all ended up working on the blue since I changed the pattern half way through, lol. I got the fun job of attaching all the squares and doing the shells on the border. Should be 45"+ square.

Blue squares were initially going to be green also but the green I started with was an odd brand and I didn't have enough. Pretty pleased with how it turned out though!
