Crochet "Chat"

So why is it, that when I finally decide to try to put an edging on a polar fleece shawl, I can't find the rotery cutter with the skip stich blade?

Here's what I've been working on. I found a really easy newborn sweater pattern that I can right-brain very easily! They take me about 4 hours to complete.

Super cute! I made hats like that and it's easy, but I am leery of trying a sweater yet. You did that in only 4 hours? Great job!

Here are my child size hats I made from a Red heart pattern:

Love the hat and scarf that match! I'm a newbie to BYC and I am so glad that they have an area to talk about hobbies! I am a huge hobby person! I could LIVE in Hobby Lobby! I do so many different hobbies but my number ones are knitting and crochet. I spend way too much time looking at patterns on Ravelry. I pet all the yarn that is at the closest yarn store (oh man do I love the Alpaca!). My current project I am knitting is a set of fingerless gloves for my daughter. I am using a pattern that has a whole lot of cables. Tough but I think I will live through it. I know this is a crochet thread but does anyone else here knit?

Yah! Super easy! I'll post the pattern later. I've made one for a small 5-7 lb baby and another for an 8-10ish size baby (the only two options on the pattern. Honestly, I was weary of sweaters too! But this was sooooooo easy. Double crochet all the way around. Once u learn the pattern you can make it your own way easy.

Your hats look awesome!,,

Ugh. Alpaca. My buddy just got ,e some to make him a scarf. Now going back to the stuff I can afford will not be fun!

The flower squares I'm working on for the flower swap. I love how they are turning out. And learned a new stitch set to boot, the alligator stitch. It is my favorite kind, lookes alot more complicated then it really is.
I know this was a long time ago kassaundra, but do you remember where you got this pattern?5

Thank you!

I used a Deborah Norville yarn Alpaca Dance, which is 25% alpaca. Not sure I liked it. Sheds some. Not any softer than some of the premium acrylics but I got it for $2.99 skein and it has LOTS of yardage on there. Still have most of it after making two cowls. Guess pure alpaca would be softer but extremely pricey.
